Mas Des Sables Seaside Cottages

Excellent location close to beach at Grandes Rocques, bus stop, super butchers and deli (brilliant filled rolls and cakes). Very friendly, helpful and informative host who provided a parking disc. Lovely setting for all properties with outdoor seating, parking, laundry, drying facilities and change of bedding and towels after first week.

Nothing but if returned would book one of the other properties which had afternoon sun when sitting outside.

The welcome pack was most welcoming! The property was so clean you could have eaten off the floor! It was perfectly placed to discover this charming island and it's so-friendly peoples. I would recommend this property to anyone as being in the top 1% of properties available online.

The only thing that could have been better would be the provision of a mirror opposite the exit onto the road. However this is a minor detail as there is already a small mirror to the left of the exit and the local drivers always slowed or even stopped to let you out.

Handy for the bus,near local shop excellent butcher.Close to beautiful beaches. Friendly host and nothing was too much trouble.

The downstairs bedroom with en-suite was a nice size and the double bed was comfy. Kitchen and bathroom both good. Good sized towels in bathroom.

All the upstairs beds were very uncomfortable and my adult sons found sleeping on them very difficult they tried all 4 hoping to find a comfortable bed but didn’t. Most of the wood bedroom furniture was worn and tired , needed freshening up, some with cup rings , most so worn the varnish had worn out/peeled and flaked, unlined curtains throughout appeared, thin and tired, front doorstep is a hazard, too narrow to step on safely, I personally slipped right off it more than once and the very rough front edge, scored the back of my ankle. I took to holding the frame and stepping out sideways.

Good location, comfortable accommodation, kind gifts of milk, butter, eggs, bread and wine, helpful owner. With a difficult back problem, a change of bed was required and graciously solved by host. Easy access beach, cafe across the street. Butchers and shop next door. Buses close for use around Island. Thanks for a good stay! Highly recommended.

Breakfast not included but cottage was very well equipped with toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer etc and 2 shower rooms and also a separate laundry room.

Easy access to the beach, very comfortable & quiet. Great area to get about to see Guernsey. One minute from a useful shop. Very friendly & everything you need in the property.

The owners were very helpful and kind. An excellent laundry onsite. The location was perfect for us near to brilliant beaches. The cottage was clean and well equipped in most ways.

Although the cottage was generally well equipped, some items were a bit substandard like the kettle and one of the loos. All easily fixed.
