Don’t go into a fancy hotel and instead enjoy the luxury of sleeping in the middle of the Mayan jungle. Wake-up for the sunrise view of the tower and then enjoy your day at the ruins.

You have to go all the way down the forest road. It’s not very apparent if you come after sunset…

La localisation en plein cœur de la jungle et à proximité [40km] des ruines de Calakmul est parfaite. Carlos est un hote très attentionné, et nous avons pu profiter du restaurant absolument délicieux situé à proximité immédiate. On recommande ce campement !

"A peaceful and welcoming campsite in the jungle"

We really enjoyed: Carlos, the friendly owner of the campsite, who gave us a warm welcome the scenic walking path and the observatory tower right on the campsite the overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere

We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t need to use the shower facilities. If you're looking for a place with more comfort or amenities, this might not be the ideal spot — but we truly enjoyed our stay!
