ZAZAAt check-in, we were informed that we needed to pay a deposit, which would be refunded as long as no damage occurred. We understood this was their policy, so we promptly paid the deposit and checked in without issue. During our stay, we treated the accommodation with the utmost care—nothing was damaged, not even a spoon was dropped. However, the trouble started when we checked out. We requested the refund of our deposit, and they asked for our bank account details, which we provided. Despite that, they never processed the refund. We followed up through WhatsApp, but our messages were ignored. We called multiple times, but no one answered. I even messaged them on Booking.com, but received no response. The last message I sent was marked as “read,” and it's been nearly a month since we’ve been trying to contact them with no success. They are refusing to refund the deposit, which feels really unfair, especially since they are so strict about collecting it in the first place. To sum it up: I’ve been scammed. To those who had a good experience with them, I’m genuinely happy for you. But for me, I can’t recommend this place. Only stay here if you truly have no other options.

ZAZAZAZAI was a stone throw from the beach. Weather played along very nicely so we could enjoy the hustle & bustle of Gordonʼs Bay. The place was very neat, more spacious than on the pictures. Great view. All amenities that we needed. Highly recommended place to book. We will be back in the summer.
The wifi didn't work well as my kiddies wanted to watch TV in evening. We sorted ourselved out with Hotspot both evenings. The fireplace mentioned wasn't for fires, only for charcoal braai which was a bummer, seeing it was winter. (maybe rethink this policy) We had noisy neighbors directly above us who had no regard for our sleep as they kept bumping on the floor & moving stuff around. Their kids also made loads of noise on the stairs & we could hear every peep so our 2nd night was not so well ito sleeping. (THIS HAS NO REFLECTION ON OUR HOSTS)
ZAThis self catering appartment is described under false representation! If Booking.com searched for self catering appartment with 2 bedrooms in Cape Town CBD, is it normal that an appartment located in Gordon's Bay, at 93 beach front, markets itself as being in Cape Town. It's in fact 1 hour and 30 minutes from Barack road. We arrived at 14h, 93 beach front and quickly realised that something was wrong... We had rushed that morning to pack up and check out. I am not a well person and needed to lie down asap. There is no way that I coukd have travelled an hour and 30 minutes from thst time. We tried to cancel, reach someone and complain to no avail. Thus, I have lost a deposit and r1800 for nothing but misrepresentation of location, which you only get when you have paid. I insist on being reimbursed. Out of 7 different 2 night accomodations, which were all delightful and closely matched their marketing, Mountain and Sea was the only one that was not being truthfull.
I would very much like Booking.com to review this matter
