This house was beautiful, location was beautiful, staff and the owner were very helpful they even had a birthday cake and flowers for my wife when we arrived on her birthday. The owner was very helpful when I asked for assistance regarding the house. We loved staying here but had to leave early because of the safety issue with the floors in the house. It's really too bad because we would have loved to stay there even longer but couldn't due to the risk of injury from the shower and patio floors when they are wet. The owner was very kind and helpful with everything we asked for. And he even gave us a partial refund when we left early. I don't blame him for the floors but he needs to find a solution to them, and the other things that need to be done to make this a top notch vacation home.

There are several issues with the house that need to be fixed. First the house has no hot water. For the price this house should absolutely have hot water at least in the shower area. Second there is no wifi in the house, which is ridiculous. The wifi is an old phone with a "Hotspot" connection which is horrible and doesn't work half the time. This is unacceptable for a vacation home. There needs to be high quality, reliabile internet there, not a stupid Hotspot on a phone. And third there is a severe safety issue here. When the house was built, someone decided to be cheap and they put wall tiles on the floors instead of floor tiles. Wall tiles are very slippery when they are wet. The shower is almost impossible to use because the floor is wet and it's like standing on ice. The patio is the same way when it rains. My wife and I almost fell many times trying to walk on the wet floors. We finally took some mats from the kitchen and put them in the shower just so we could shower without falling down. The floor would have to be replaced in order to fix this, which isn't going to happen. The only other option is to place mats or carpets all through the house, bathroom and patio to avoid falling on the wet floors. Someone is going to have a serious injury sooner or later from those dangerous floors. I don't know why anyone would ever put wall tiles on the floors of a house. I don't think it's the owners fault but he needs to find a solution to this problem before someone breaks bones falling on those floors.

We had originally planned to spend 3 days at Clifftop Home, but thanks to Ann and Mika's hospitality and the magic of the place, we decided on the second day that we would like to stay for another 3 days. They created a wonderful environment where we instantly felt not “only” at home but in paradise on earth. We really felt like family. We can't wait to visit this incredible place again.

A truly spectacular apartment in a stunning location! The view looking out onto Tulang Diot is breathtaking and I would recommend this to everyone in a heartbeat. We had the most amazing time here and during a one-month-long trip around Asia, we both agreed this was our favourite spot! Our hosts were so lovely and arranged a pickup for us at the port on arrival and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Thank you for such a magical experience and for sharing your slice of heaven with us :)

Stunning views across the turquoise sea to a little island. Private balcony to sit on and watch the boats coming and going and the local life going on. The apartment was very clean and well-designed with cool white tiles and big patio doors overlooking the sea. There was a water cooler, fridge and cooking facilities. Hosts welcomed us with fresh coconut drinks and were friendly and helpful throughout.

A lack of shower gel and shampoo was a little inconvenient. The closest beach isn't very picturesque, but there are plenty of others nearby.

1. The location is awsome. Beautiful view on the ocean and the neighbor island. The house is located on the hill and the balcony is hidden from passbyer's eyes. 2. Huge garden with shades and sunny spots. Nice lawn with ocean view where we could take sun baths. Many trees and plants with flowers. The garden is been cleaned often, so there are no dry leafs or branches. 3. The house has cooler, thus any time cool and hot water was available. 4. Big variety of kitchenware: pots, pans, glasses, wine glasses and so on. 5. The property has grill which is free to use. We made very nice grilled tuna on it. 6. Cute geckos small and big, who came out during the night time. 7. Very beautiful underwater world, when you go some distance from the shore and pass the sea weed. Many colorful sea stars and corals. 8. There is almost no turists and local people are harmless and friendly. 9. The communication with the host was exellebt and he helped us alot. Overall we very enjoyed to stay here and we would defintely come back here again.

There are no minuses in the apartment. All disadvantages concerning the surroundings. 1. The closest beach is not clean at all: many plastic garbage. Basically this beach is a backyard for local people who live along the road. There is a little amount of sand and mostly sea weed along the shore. However it is not noticable from the balcony. The only one beach where we could swim was on the niebougr island and to get there cost 400 pesos. 2. The niebougrs have several gooses just behind the fence. These bustards were quacking and making noise all day and all night long. So we were not able to enjoy the silince. Hope that by the time the next guest comes the gooses will be baked with apples. 3. There are no proper groccery store within a walking distance, thus we needed to hire tuktuk to go to supermarket and market every 3-4 days.
