The place was lovely but could of been so much better if it was clean! We spent our first day trying to get a mop bucket to clean the floors as they seemed to not been cleaned in a good while. My mother end up on her hands and knees with a cloth to clean them. Maybe need to leave a mop bucket and some cleaning stuff. It wasnt just the floors that weren't clean the whole place needed a better clean. The beds where the only thing that made it better because they where really clean and comfy.

Innkeepers Lodge was a great stay. Comfortable, well equipped, plenty of space and a great location in an ideally situated town. We'd love to come back and stay again.

Can't really think of anything negative. Raised a couple of things with the owners and they responded very quickly.

Location, charm and space. Fire was lovely in the evening. Cheerful and clean.

Washing machine was questionable. Kept jamming, so we were not sure if we’d be able to get our clothes out! No shampoo, conditioner or body wash for shower. Hand wash at basin was empty.. we wondered if this had been an uncommon oversight, though.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel—everything from the friendly, helpful staff to the clean, comfortable room was excellent. The facilities were well maintained, and the location was perfect for getting around easily. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
