City Apartment with heated rooftop Pool

Loved our stay here!! The apartment was lovely, with our own rooftop pool and terrace which was perfect for the summer evenings. In a relaxed residential area outside of the busy old town, but also still only an easy 20-ish minute walk to get there (and about 30 mins to the nearest beach). There are plenty of mini market shops nearby, and also a big supermarket with a really nice bakery/cafe opposite it only a 5 minute walk away. Menios was an amazing host, he recommended a great local restaurant and taxi number (who we used for our return to the airport!) and was so helpful with anything we needed. Would 100% recommend!

Everything, it's a great apartment, BBQ balcony was great in the late afternoon. Kitchen well stocked with what U need to self cater, very safe and secure. Location is a 20min stroll into town so avoiding the chaos but plenty good restaurants in the neighbourhood so your not out the way. Host was great on the end of WhatsApp so always there

Très proche de Chania, l’appartement est bien placé si vous souhaitez découvrir la ville de chania ou la région Ouest de la Crête. Vous pouvez sans problème rester chiller à l’appartement grace à sa piscine et les 2 terrasses avec le barbecue. Les magasins, stations services et autres accès aux routes sont faciles d’accès depuis l’appartement. Un hôte très à l’écoute et bienveillant sans être envahissant, communication très fluide et facile, accès à l’appartement et départ autonomes, c’est le top 👍🏼

Il manque peut-être un ventilateur pour repartir l’air de la climatisation dans la chambre.

The private pool,very clean and welcoming .the owner was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us,especially after our taxi dropped us off at the wrong location and the owner came to pick us up.he also drove us to the town centre and later returned to pick us up on our fifth day due to no taxi’s being available.excellent host thank you very much.

Building work all week next door from 7 until 3.30 daily

Excellent apartment, the pool was lovely. Bed was comfy, and check-in was friendly and easy.

The owner helped us with finding a rental car, which although more expensive than the ones seen online, was easier to book and hassle free. He also send us recommendation's for different restaurants. I want to say that the owner seemed nice but the week we were there wasn't what we expected.

1. I asked if there would be any food/ groceries at the house, before we went as we were arriving late and suggested we can bring food if there isn't any. We didn't receive a reply and assumed based on other reviews and previous experiences with other hosts, that there would be something. There was only 4 beers and local strong alcohol and no heads up. 2. Due to sand storm the days before, the owner wanted to come and check the pool the next day, which we said was okay. But then this happened every single day after. We swam twice and the second time there was skin irritation which we told him about and he then came and tested water levels again and said there was something off and he fixed it. Each time (even before the symptoms occurred) he said it was fine to swim and each day he still told us he needed to come in and check the pool, so for obvious reasons, we didn't feel comfortable swimming there until there was no need for further check, which sadly never came. We booked this house solely due to private swimming pool and were very disappointed that it wasn't as expected. I understand this is rare (the sand storm), but he should have handle it different or been up front that the pool is out of use. Also, after the first couple of days of having to plan around him checking the pool, we suggested he come in with his own keys so we could focus on our holiday and he said he didn't have a key. However when we got tired of this and said that we are simply not there to let him in, he then asked via msg if he can let himself in and that's what we did for the rest of the week as he suddenly did have a key after all.

Apartment was ideally located for the town and harbour areas,supermarkets and shops. Everything was very clean and well maintained ,the pool was sparkling . Excellent clothes storage facilities in a large bedroom. The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water.

Not a dislike more of a suggestion ,the rear terrace could do with a pair of sun loungers and the bedroom with either an Aircon unit or a ceiling fan to make it more comfortable , but apart from that it's perfect .
