The host, Simon, was extremely helpful and the one or two issues we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. It was very cold, but the living area of the lodge is well equipped for such weather and the electric blankets on the beds were lifesavers! Massive trout in the dams, since it is catch and release only, so a fisherman's dream. The town is also easily accessible for a bit of shopping/lunch etc.

In the bitter cold it would have been nice to have a guest bathroom near the living area and not have to run to the room every time, but this is really a minor inconvenience.

Amazing house with everything you need and more! Comfortable beds, beautiful finishes, and lovely views. Simon was very friendly and helpful as well as the owner.

Just remember that you have to travel on a gravel road and drive very slow if you don't have a high clearance vehicle. But it's worth it.

The kitchen had everything we needed , Simon was exceptionally helpful he went an extra mile to make sure we were comfortable.

Mosquito repellents like Citronella candles would be great!
