Wellness Apartment on the Wharf Utrecht

We found 2 mice in the house while we were there. Paying all that money in order to be chasing mice the whole time we were there was just not worth it.

The location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic and it was extremely clean. As well as being right on the Oudegracht/ canal, the apartment is located in the heart of the city with shops, cafes and restaurants just minutes away. The perfect location to explore the city easily on foot. The apartment is also extremely spacious which was wonderful and, despite being at canal level, it has a lot of daylight thanks to the large glass doors and additional windows at the front. Our vist was in winter and thankfully the apartment wasn't cold - the heating works really well in there which was great. The sauna and steam room are an added bonus which helps to make the trip even more relaxing. We have already decided that we will book back here again in the summer to enjoy the activity/view over the canal even more. We had the opportunity to meet with the hosts as well - both were absolutely charming and so helpful. Highly recommend!

Overall the stay was wonderful. Nothing impacted our enjoyment of the apartment. One very small thing - because there is a sauna and steam room - extra towels are provided (as well as dressing gowns and slippers) - and you do end up using the extra towels so it would be great to have a few more hanging hooks or even a drying rack to use so that they can dry a little more between uses. (There are hooks to hang some of the towels - but if you use any additional ones for the sauna/steam, it then becomes a little tricky as to how to hang/dry them all.) This really is a tiny issue though!
