Hilltop Serviced Apartments - Sheffield

Location, it’s bit isolated. It’s a student accommodation apartment. U can’t open curtains as you are then overlooking other flats.

The apartment was very nice clean tidy cosy, the location is excellent it’s very to close to city centre.

Location was truly fabulous as was having the secure underground parking in such a central spot. Good amenities in the flat and building although we did not use many of them. Flat is clean and comfortable for 3 - 4 people. Provision of tea/coffee/sugar/small milk appreciated.

Nightmare getting into the key lockbox! After a long drive, getting into the parking and flat took us over an hour. This started our stay off on a rather poor footing. We had to contact a central property management helpline which seemed to be overseas. The lady who tried to help us struggled a bit with our English, bless her, and seemed to be managing wee children and cackling chickens at the same time based on sounds in the background. She sounded quite stressed that she was not able to resolve the issue. She followed all the set procedures, the problem was simply not addressed by any of these. It was my husband who finally worked out that the box was mechanically jammed and eventually fixed it (thank goodness he's very handy with these things). It worked fine from that point, confirmed when we checked out and returned the keys to box. Otherwise, in normal working hours, the property managers responded by message very quickly. Flat was roasting hot despite cool weather and we'd kept the radiators off. We had to keep the windows open. This may suit some, we found it stifling.
