Stylish Apartment in Belgrade Waterfront

Everything so great

The location is great, and the lady who handed us the keys was pleasant and very clear in all of the instructions. She waited for us next to the parking ramp and took us to the apartment.

The first weird thing was that the host wanted us to pay half the price upfront via Western Union. The paying upfront part wasn't the problem at all, which I did the very next day. But he gave me instructions to pay via Western Union, and there was no other option for payment, so we bore the extra fees of that (if the host has a specific payment type to go around the tax obligations, then at least they should pay the fees). The whole communication with him was not pleasant. He was sending short messages, not what you would expect from a good host, repeating the question, "Did you pay?". When I called him to tell him that I paid, he first didn't pick up, and then he told me he didn't have a missed call from me. These are small things, you would think, but they made the whole experience worse. In the meantime, I asked him for instructions on how to find the building and where to park the car, and he didn't want to explain. He just told me, "This is the address, and this is the name of the building." Fortunately, I was in this part of the city before, so I knew that the building had a different entrance than the parking entrance. Still, anyone else, especially the foreign guys coming, would find it very hard to find the place. At the last moment, after I asked him several times over the course of a few days, he decided to send me a pinned location. Now, coming to the accommodation part, the apartment was ok, but nothing more. Some essentials were missing, like they didn't have a bottle opener, they had a Nespresso coffee maker but didn't leave any coffee, there was some water running in the bathroom from the toilet from time to time, the table in the living room was cracked a bit, and the whole place smelled of dust like it wasn't properly cleaned. The apartment meets the standards overall, but the host doesn't.

Loved everything about this cute apartment! The renovations and decorations were above other places we have seen. Was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip with a toddler. Kitchen was stocked with the necessities and the livingroom also had a pull out couch if needed. The king sized bed in the bedroom was super comfortable. The location is fantastic with a little playground right in front for the kiddo complete with Cafés for the parents while they play. Also there is a little grocery store below to get some quick things. Also it is walking distance from the Galleria mall that has everything. And the waterfront is also walking distance with plenty of nice restaurants/bars/Cafés. Would recommend this to any couples or small families! And will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a beautiful apartment. Everything works well in the apartment, communication with the owner was easy. Recommendation for Your visit in Belgrade.
