Liked where it was situated; the peace and quiet of a private estate suited us well. From the outside, the building has the wow factor. The apartment is fitted with good quality furniture throughout, and has a very comfy bed. The bathroom and kitchen were well done.

We felt it was fine for one night, but we wouldn't want to stay there longer as the apartment was devoid of personality. The sitting room was spacious, with a small, firm quality settee. It was not a room to relax in. It lfelt functional; lacked welcome.

The apartment was in a peaceful location and was very quiet. It was beautifully presented and very comfortable. The apartment was well situated for access to Newark and Lincoln. Great communication from the host - we didn't meet anyone but had no issues.

A brief information pack would gave been useful, e.g. how to work the towel rail, what parts of the grounds could we explore.

This apartment is in the grounds of a private house. Beautiful building with history. It’s well appointed, comfortable, quiet with space to breathe. An automatic gate and long private driveway lead you to plenty of parking. We took lawn chairs to sit in the evening sun which was a bonus. Location excellent for A1 & A46

We stayed 2 nights and all I cooked was pizza. The kitchen was fine for that. I wouldn’t be cooking a complicated meal though. 🤣

Beautiful grounds and location and lovely clean apartment. Friendly owner. Nice pub with classic pub food (Lord Nelson) in Winthorpe village about 1 mile away and Little Waitrose in a garage on the A46 2 miles away. Only weeny downside for me was while exceptionally clean, the sheets/duvet etc had been conditioned or cleaned with a very strong scent (Bold lavender or something like it!) it’s a personal thing I guess, but kept me awake a little! Still didn’t distract from what was a lovely stay. Look out for an interesting character in the bluebell wood on the way in!😁

Stayed several times, exceptional hosts, location & facilities. Spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable apartment. Quiet, cosy & charming. Would highly recommend.

Great location - just off the a1. Great parking.

lounge was a little sparce - another chair or settee would be great. property not up to date with fire regulations - no fire doors or closures, no fire extinghuisher and no instructions. No pat testing.

The location was lovely. Room lovely. Everything I needed to surprise my partner for his 40th when I cooked him a meal. Was all lovely

Could do with a sign before the gates as both me and partner drive straight pass.
