The Mulberry Apartment at Langford Hall

Very pleasant accommodation in a restful location.

The host was accommodating and very pleasent to deal with. We stayed for 4 nights and self catered for three of them. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was spacious and nicely done out.

If I had to find something to critique it would be that the lounge dining area needed a few more furnishings maybe a larger sofa. This is only personal preference though. It was stunning its just me personally like cosy.

Clear instructions for access through the gates and to the property itself. Very comfortable property: we were informed by the owner that the apartment had recently been refurbished, and this was evident.

It wasn't obvious if there was a welcome folder of information and recommendations of places to visit. It wasn't a problem for us, since we had activities pre-arranged for our stay, but for those wanting to see what is available in the locality, I think it would be good to have an information folder. We've stayed in many properties over the years, and we've always had access to such information. I

The apartment was good for our requirements - much better than a hotel room. Kitchen was well equipped - we cooked supper and breakfasts and had everything we needed. It's a quirky location that we liked a lot. The apartment is clean and well maintained and is significantly better than anything else in the area.

We were there for a few days - had we been there longer, we'd have missed a little extra furniture ... a couple of comfy chairs maybe? The temperature dropped while we were there and though we were fine with the little heater supplied it didn't seem possible to kick the central heating into life ... some instructions for guests maybe? Oh ... and I might be wrong, but the loo seat didn't seem to fit !!!

Great location and lovely surroundings. Helpful host. Comfy bed.
