Luxury penthouse apt with amazing views

The room is amazing, everything is great.

Absolutely a luxury apartment.

No coffee machine

It is a very cozy place for staying in Svolvaer. The apartment is tidy and clean. The furniture is also very nice and comfort. The location is next to Thon hotel which is the gather point for most of the day trip and activity. It is also convenient to go to the supermarket. We are happy to stay here for our holiday. The landlord has provided all the info before we checked in. Thanks～A very lovely place that I would love to come back again if I have a chance to travel here in the future.

The property is very tasteful, classy and cozy. The bathroom is wonderful. Both sofa and beds were very comfortable.

The balcony was rather dark and without glass window, so it got really wet when there’s rain. We couldn’t find kitchen paper and coffee machine, which honestly is quite odd for such an upscale apartment.

Close to everything and very nice. Great view.

We enjoyed a very lovely period of time in this apartment. The furnishing style is extremely nice, and the facilities are cutting-edge.

There is no washing detergent.

The location was excellent. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and had everything you needed. Particularly as I was on my own and used the kitchen facilities. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. A bit of confusion regarding getting into the apartment but it was sorted immediately.

Instructions should be left indicating how the rubbish should be removed. There was a key but not not evident what it was for. Parking needs to be explained. You need an app to pay for parking and there is no dedicated space for the apartment. There are spaces there but anyone parks in them not necessarily from the apartments. No problem once you understand this.

Location , looked brand new or newly remodeled and was very clean.

Was difficult to not have info on how to use appliances in the apartment or a number to call for the owners /managers of the apartment . There was no AC ….and getting into the apartment was very frustrating as all the info for the keypad we received was by text and we couldn’t get in at first

We stayed five nights in the flat in June 2024. The owner's pictures of the flat are truthful, precise and gave us a very good description of what to expect. We absolutely loved our stay. In more detail, it needs to be mentioned, that - the location is very nice, just at the harbour, very close to the town centre with harbour terminal, shops and restaurants. Nevertheless, the location is very quiet. We could leave our rental car just on the parking beside the building using EasyPark App or, after a brief search, park our car roadside for free. - The flat is very well maintained, meticulously clean, luxuriously furnished and all appliances are on the newest high-end standard. The overall standard is very high. The flat is welcoming and cozy. - Especially kitchen and bathroom are top notch. - Accessibility is good, however, there are a few flat thresholds on the floor. - Beds are very comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The duvets are extremely cozy down duvets. - The large bedroom is fine for two adults, we assume the beds are queen size. This bedroom has two opening windows, so one may enjoy a night in fresh and cool air. - The second smaller bedroom has a queen size bed, which is only accessible from one side. So, it should be fine for one adult or maybe two kids as the second person sleeping behind the first will need to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. We assume kids wouldn't be bothered by someone climbing over them in order to get out, but adults may be. This second bedroom does not have a window. - We always travel with two suitcases and we could find enough space in the flat to leave them open on the ground: One in the unility room and one below the desk in the smaller bedroom. - Especially on the top floor, where the flat is located, the building is pretty hot and the air seems to be very dry. We opened the windows and balcony door to cool the flat down effectively.

This penthouse deserves its name a 100 percent: it’s absolutely excellent in every respect and was built, designed and furnished up to the highest standards possible - technologically, quality- and design-wise. I think the (wealthy?) owners invested an enormous amount of money in order to use it themselves as a holiday flat. We were really overwhelmed when we arrived - and quite upset when we had to leave. Its location in Svolvært is also perfect - quiet, but only a two minutes walk from Hurtigruten Terminal and the beautiful sea promenade and main square.

A bit of support by the owners where to store our luggage between check-out (11 am) and the departure of our ship in the early evening would have been great. But we don‘t live in a perfect world, do we?!
