Miko Apartments next to Castle district

Beautiful cozy apartment with all working services, very clean and easy to reach, given the very clear instructions by the owner.

I could hear all the steps and other noises coming from the people above, maybe because the buildilng is quite old. Fortunately I wasn't home most of the time. Besides this, all positive!

The property's location is ideal when wanting to explore the Buda side, as the bus and tram stops are within a short walking distance. The building is a quiet block and there were no rowdy neighbours.

The ground floor apartment has been divided into two separate 'apartments'. This results in the ceilings being lower than a normal apartment, meaning that when stretching our my arms I could easily touch the ceiling. This creates somewhat of a claustrophobic feeling. This should be detailed in the advert that the ceilings are lower than normal. I stayed in the upper loft section, which has stairs leading upward. The stairs are too close to the entrance door, you can easily trip upward, especially since there is no lighting to guide you. Because it is a 'half' apartment, the half windows are on the ground, making the place very dark even during the day. The windows are not easily opened, and you need to crouch on your knees to do so. There is only one small pot and pan in the apartment. I wanted to use the pan but it was extremely dirty and looked like it had not been scrubbed in a very long time. The booking.com platform must develop quality control mechanisms to counter such hosts, as they put your reputation into question.

Clean and all basics provided. Close to city centre.

Lighting in entrance hall was bad and I nearly fell a few times during my stay.
