O'Connors Bar Restaurant and Guesthouse

Spotlessly clean and generously sized rooms and ensuite, in a friendly family-run establishment. Good bar and restaurant on site and creamy Guinness for only £4.50 a pint! Kitchenette available to use for breakfast or meals.

On the main street with some (weekend) noise from the bar across the road.

O'Connors is very convenient it's near to a lot of things to do. You have the use of a kitchen so we could cook a meal or there's very nice pizza and chipper next door called Joe and Co. There also is a choice of breakfast cereal, bread jam butter and tea or coffee these are available in the kitchen all the time which is great (no rushing out of bed for breakfast). The restaurant is lovely very clean and the food is good. Lovely for a nice night out and after the meal just head over to the bar for a drink which always had a good group of people in while we were there. We stayed for 7 nights and had a very relaxing time car parking was no problem eather. The only thing that was a problem was the noise of tractors and they were working most of the night and day. They were going right under our window and around the corner so they did make a lot of noise. But that was the time of the year we were just unlucky. Also it was very hot at night so to sleep we needed the window open (the joy of good weather) This wasn't any fault of the place just one of those things.

The noise (from the time of year) and the room was quite hot. But we didn't ask if they could do anything about the heat. They may have been able to give us a fan or something but we didn't think of asking.

Very nice restaurant and bar,friendly staff Kitchen area upstairs, you can make your own tea, coffee, whenever you want. Plenty of breakfast cereal,tea, coffee, bread. Busy village, friendly people.
