Spaziosa casa con giardino e dependance

Stayed with family, the host is very helpful. My granddaughter thought she may have left something at the house. The host took the trouble to look for it, even asking the next visitors to check as well. Very helpful. A lovely, comfortable house in a quiet residential street with a few independent shops, far more interesting than a supermarket. The house had lots of space a rear garden and shady front area.

Nothing really

The apartment was as described – four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It was spacious, with a private garden and a barbecue area. Located outside the city center, which was actually a plus for us. The host was very friendly and spoke English. There were shops and restaurants nearby, and the sea was just a few minutes' walk away. We visited just before the high season.

Enclosed patio was relaxing. We were able to do laundry. Safe neighborhood. Appreciated that 1 room had twin beds. Location was great for day trips to Carrara, Volterra, and Cinque Terre. Host and hostess were responsive to our every request and delightful. Recommended a wonderful restaurant.

Great location and lots of space! We loved the courtyard!

We came here with three teenagers and a dog and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Mario was waiting for us when we arrived to give us the tour and several helpful tips about nearby restaurants. He was always very available for questions and when we had a little problem with the water, he came around immediately to fix it. The house has a closed front and back garden which was ideal for the dog. All bedrooms have their own bathroom which is a bonus and there was soap and even shampoo in all of them. The two big bedrooms have huge wardrobe space. The best thing about the house is its location though - very close to small shops and the pine forest (again, perfect with the dog) and only a short walk to the beach. The center of Viareggio is about half an hour on foot. Our daughter is planning to come back here with a group of friends.

The kitchen has lots of plates, pots and pans, etc. but nothing to measure liquids or solids. Also, there is no basic stock of salt, pepper, etc. so you will need to bring or buy everything if you intend to cook.

It ia a nice airy place with many bath / shower rooms and lots of space in the bedrooms. The kitchen was just right for us and there is a nice space out the back to sit around in and enjoy when the weather is better. A short walk took us to the pineta and then on down Marco Polo to the passeggiata (for the carnival!)

Nothing - it was just right for us as it was.
