Eclectic Heritage Paradise Simon's Town

We were greeted by the owners, they are lovely. The flat is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The outdoor space at the back of the property is a nice area to sit.

It’s located above a petrol garage. Although is closed at 8pm and it’s nice a quiet it can be noisy at times from 7 am and personally the smell of fuel was a bit unpleasant.

Perfectly located in Simon's Town, everything is walking distance from the apartment.

This place is just perfect for everybody traveling to Cape Town, Simon's Town and Surroundings. It's just like an out of a "Home & Garden" magazine as the photos show. Very close walking distance to the center and Marina of Simon's Town and just an Uber ride away from CPT and many great sites. The apartment has everything one can possibly need. It's ready to move in even for a longer stay and will make everybody happy. I even took decoration ideas with me for my home.

Everything was just perfect! There is not a single thing which is not as described or even better, and the owners of the flat are more than helpful if guests need anything for their stay.

Very modern and stylish

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and even carried our suitcases up the steep incline to the apartment. Very nice apartment, two nice rooms and a good bathroom. There are three televisions in the apartment, which is rare; we could use our DSTV stream app to watch the full DSTV bouquet. The apartment is close to the main street and harbour area, so you can walk to all shops and restaurants, which is very convenient. Simonstown is very central to the whole area, easy to drive to Kalkbay, the Good Hope Nature Reserve, Noordhoek, etc.

Your car is parked outside in the road; there is no parking for your vehicle, but this was a minor issue at the end. The biggest issue is that the apartment is next to the main road of Simonstown and right above the Shell garage, so during the day it is noisy, and especially the garage is a pain if you prefer peace and quiet. After 19:00, it becomes quiet and not an issue until 07:00 the next morning. Baboons are a risk all over the Western Cape, especially in these towns closer to the mountains, so we had to keep our stoep area closed, which made the apartment hot, especially when there was no wind. Maybe good idea for the hosts to either install air conditioning or at least fans.
