"Historic fish market location."

Location was in Historic district so we could walk everywhere. Our apartment was oversized with a kitchen and 3 balconies. Everything we needed was supplied for us.

Train was noisy, but with thick windows closed all noise was blocked out.

"Great location though not if you are a light sleeper."

Very close to the Centro storico and main areas. Appreciated having the washing machine. Apartment is a nice size.

Very noisy, day and night. Fish markets set up from around 4:30am and if you are a light sleeper, that is the last you will sleep.

"We enjoyed Catania and the flat is central but it’s too close to fish market and railway for comfort"

This is a really good apartment. It has been restored nicely and it is roomy. The problem is its location

The fish market is immediately below the bedroom window and the railway runs right past the house at first floor level. Presumably this is why the host provides earplugs. The situation could be improved if the original thick wooden shutters were modified so they closed completely. There appears to be a serious electrical fault in the kitchen. When we tried to use the hob it did not work - Error E8 indicated a fault concerning the electricity supply to the hob. When we requested help from the host she suggested we try “unplugging the light from the apartment’s main switchboard for 15 minutes, then plug it back in”. We had to leave our uncooked meal and go out to eat.

"Spacious and comfortable in the heart of Catania"

Great location in the city centre, close to good restaurants and the main attractions. Also close to bus stops with buses to the airport and to Syracuse. Good airconditioning. Clean room and bathroom. Nice, small kitchen. Easy check-in.

A bit noisy, both from trains but especially from the fish market outside which starts at around 6 am. Also noisy from the neighbouring room. Not enough toilet paper.

Well suited appartment with everything you need. The host is very helpful and provided us with all the info we needed !

Clean, high ceilings , great little place! Location is perfect, if you like to have all the restourants and bars around. Just on the corner of Duomo.
