MONday Apart Premium Kyoto Sta Kamogawa

A good value for the money and about a 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. There were plenty of places to eat around, though no actual supermarkets which would have been nice. The building is quite new and very clean, friendly staff, and plenty of toiletries at the front desk, including laundry detergent. I also appreciated that they provided a Nespresso machine and free capsule refills for us during cleaning day.

The family suite room is quite narrow, so there isn't a lot of room to walk around between the beds and the bathroom doors/walls. This also meant there wasn't much room for every person's luggage to be stored/opened so my group of 7 had to maneuver a bit. Also we never figured out how to turn on the vents on the bathrooms so they were on overnight and kinda annoying.

Location was excellent as it was close to main Kyoto train station and another smaller train station. Room had excellent facilities including a washer and dryer, dyson hair dryer, coffee machine, deodoriser for clothes (to get rid of smells), and an excellent toilet and bathroom. We also liked having the extra space with the couch area too. The bathroom was spacious and it was great to have a separate toilet and sink area. The beds were very comfortable. We felt all of the amenities were the best we encountered in our stay overall in Japan. Staff were also friendly and helpful and assisted us to arrange luggage transfers to Tokyo. The hotel also allowed storage of luggage before and after check in / check out.

N/A - we thought everything was great. Minor improvement suggestion would be to add some hooks near the bedding area to hang clothes (separate to the closet area)

Location near to kyoto jr and keihan station. Cleanliness was tiptop. All amenities are provided. Great to have washing machine and dryer. Cooking utensils also provided. All electrical appliances are new
