Comfy, cosy and very well maintained

This is the cutest little cottage on a slight hill, in a perfect location, close to tiwn., it had all the basic things you need, although we didnt cook anything, we used mugs for a drink and was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome gift, which was a lovely touch

Only LITTLE thing for me was it didn't have a bedroom. It wasn't a great problem, the bed settee was of very high standard and extremely comfy but I just like to unpack and be tidy but had to have clothes piled on table I felt it was messy. But that's just a personal thing, the place was great 👍

Gorgeous little cottage which had everything we needed as well as a lovely little welcome treat. Great location and our host was really good at ensuring we had everything we needed, late check out was an added bonus.

Great facility and lovely placement, comfy bed don’t be put off by the fold out bed it’s more comfy than any hotel with a normal bed. Isobel was lovely and left us wine and cheese for our stay which just added to the experience. This is far better than any big chain hotel and I will be staying here again next time I visit Holmfirth.

Nothing it was perfect

Lovely small cottage, with wonderful host.

What breakfast? Location fine.

Worst host ever, we were treated like criminals. No respect, no kindness or understanding. We are in our 70s and were exhausted from over 7 hrs drive in rain. Threatened not to let us stay, in spite of us having paid £200 for 2 nights, unless we paid upfront £25 for our dog. Host was rude, insulting and ill-tempered. Worst accommodation experience ever, it totally ruined our stay.

The host was welcoming and on hand to help with anything . The welcoming touches such as mince pies and coffee were a lovely treat. The property it self is in a fantastic location close to all amenities in the centre of Holmfirth. Thank you Isobel.
