Cosy Victorian Terrace house in Jericho

Excellent location. Lovely comfortable cottage. All facilities you need.

I liked everything about the cottage however just wanted to point out the fridge froze our food it may need looking at. A couple of the frying pans were quite worn. This did not detract from our fabulous stay.

Very cosy and complete. Very good value.

Only 1 bathroom so with 7 people that was not enough at all. Also the toilet was in the same bathroom, so no toilet when someone was in the shower.

Nice house, welcoming, felt like somebody’s home rather than just a “place to stay”. had everything we needed. Comfy bed, very good bath and shower, quiet area but walking distance to places to eat and small supermarket for essentials. Nice secluded garden and sitting area …although it rained most of our stay so we didn’t get a chance to use it.

Nothing was “bad” but the tv was a bit old and the apps (Amazon and BBC) didn’t work. It was a bit of a walk into the centre but maybe it just felt like that because it was raining most of the time!

Location was absolutely perfect. The house was really nice and cosy and in really good condition. Decor and furnishings were lovely.

No car parking which was a bit of a pain and meant you couldn’t really take full advantage of the central location of the property as we were forced to use car parking in central Oxford which meant having to drive.

The setup was good in terms of layout. The appliances plus the washer, dryer and dishwasher were all great. The heating worked well. It was a very nice place to stay

It is on 3 levels so if mobility is an issue it wouldn’t be suitable

It is amazing, that for slightly more per day than you would pay an international hotel chain for a decent king-bed room in Oxford, you can have a whole three-bedroom house in the one of the city's nicest neighborhoods, Jericho, with a full kitchen, stylish parlor, dining annex that catches the morning sun, and backyard. Jericho is charming, quiet, on the canal and close to the meadows, and blessedly free from the sometimes crazy foot and cycling traffic of the center, which is a 15-min walk away. Wifi was solid. Appreciated the extra key, and restaurant suggestions.

Bed in main bedroom was on small side, but, have to say, we slept well on it. Second bedroom has bunk beds, which we didn't actually try out. Bathroom is directly across from head of stairs, which are steep. Just part of the architecture, but felt the need to be careful at night, especially since there are two weird little half-steps on approach to bathroom from bedroom corridor.

Lovely and very cosy property. Well-stocked for a longer family holiday - we ended up cooking most of our meals and eating in. I worked remotely using the desk in one of the rooms and it was quite comfortable. Would return!

Missing panel from bathroom door was a little awkward but I am sure it has been fixed now!
