Bluebell Cottage in the Yorkshire Dales

Location. Garden.

La maison est confortable, très propre, les lits excellents et douillets. Elle est située dans un village adorable. On se croirait dans une série de la BBC. Parking gratuit à 100 mètres mais on peut approcher vraiment tout près pour charger et décharger la voiture. Supermarché à Settle, à 5min en voiture. Nous y avons passé une grosse semaine. Tout était vraiment parfait. Impeccable communication avec notre hôte, Richard.

Rustige ligging, fijn bed

For walking in the Dales, the location was excellent and not far from a town to get provisions.

The kitchen equipment was ok but a few items missing that would have made self catering easier. The parking was tricky with a very narrow entry to the property which for a larger car would be difficult to access. Otherwise limited parking in the village was available.

Perfect retreat

It was a cute and quaint cottage. Beds were lovely and comfortable . Very quiet location Owner very responsive to my problem of not getting on the internet straight away.

Personal preference. Size of towels. Also this goes for a lot of places and I know some owners are not in the vicinity. But when you are from abroad and have no way of travelling with food provisions, it would be so nice to have some milk and maybe bread. This holiday from Australia we have been two places with no village shop and arrived late. I think booking.com needs a points system to let you know if suitable for overseas travellers. I will be more aware next year or shop close by. Etc. And would choose a cottage that had a welcome pack if I knew they had one. This cottage was great once we got a car picked up and i understand the majority of travellers rock up in a car fully loaded. In winter you would also need a few logs to get you started too.
