Beautiful clean house

no upstairs toilet but that is the period property. Not a problem for us but maybe needs highlighting as could be a problem for older visitors

A recently refurbished older property tucked away close to the town centre. It has all the facilities that you need for a short stay. On street parking is freely available and we had no issues finding a space at any time of the day. The place has the touch of a caring owner rather than a corporate business. Basic supplies were provided on arrival (tea, coffee, milk, cleaning materials)

Things that could have been better. Only 1 key, so coordination between people was needed to get back in. Cooker hood extractor was broken. Shower rail was loose and fragile and kept collapsing when you adjusted the height. The towels and bedding had been washed with something with a heavy scent which was not to everyone's taste.

Location. Close to Northumberland Park and Tynemouth village centre with the castle and priory. The house is nicely decorated, spacious and very clean and would be very suitable for a family. The Smart TV is large and modern. We would be very happy to return. Thank you.

An upstairs loo and shower would have been useful for me (dodgy knees) but we soon got used to the arrangement.
