One Granary Barns near Stansted Airport

This property is excellent! The owners are extremely accommodating and it is by far the best place to stay in the area. If you want somewhere to stay before or even after your flight at Stansted it is absolutely perfect and I can guarantee you will NOT be disappointed. Even for a weekend or even a week break it’s excellent accommodation. Book it before this gem is discovered and you can’t get in !!!

Everything was amazing, nice and tidy. Every single detail was thought about. Facilities were great. I would highly recommend this property.

Place felt very spacious and clean. The owners were very polite and helpful at all stages. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable to sleep on. There was snacks, fresh towels and everything else was easy to find with a bunch of other little bits. Even forgot AA batteries which they helped with. I drink a lot of coffee and there was plenty of that to keep me going and fresh fruit teas for my friend and milk in the fridge with bottled water. This was our 2nd stay as friend missed her flight and by time we got back everything was clean again with fresh towels and coffee again. They also have a very convenient pick up service from the airport to the property and back to airport if needed. Yeah great little holiday home and the owners were very nice and helpful.

Not much I didn't like. Growing up as a builders son a few of the finishing touches could be done better and a slightly more comfortable sofa but that sofa is a sofa bed and I've never came across one of those that was comfortable for long. As it was a new build ordering take away was a little awkward as non existent on Google maps but we did always get out food.

So this was our first stay here and was very impressed right from the start. Open, clean and very welcoming. We took advantage of their offer to pick us up and was well worth it as place a little difficult to find. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Some snacks and plenty of towels and toiletries. Smart TV, Nespresso machine, which they provide some pods for along with extra blankets. Fridge stocked with milk and water. Yeah was a great place to stay and highly recommend for short or long stay.

Not much I didn't like

The barns are beautiful and highly furnished. It also had a Christmas tree up & decorated, that was an extra bonus. (December).

My fault, I didn't realise there was no oven!
