Unique 2BD Apartment Folkestone Harbour

Easy check inn due to the provided lock code, appt is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle with a really nice roof terrace. Not suitable for people that have problems with stairs. Everything is in walkable distance, parking is quite expensive and in the weekend if weather is nice it is absolutely busy. But definitely would recommend the stay at 2 bethel!

This place far exceeded our expectations! The location couldn’t be better and the apartment was clean, spacious and had a beautiful outlook of the sea. We all had an amazing time and agreed it might be one of the best places we have stayed in! Plus the little ice cream shop right outside was a huge win for coffee in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon!

The £300 deposit came as a bit of a shock since we didn’t read all the fine print but our refund has been initiated very quickly after our stay.

This really is a unique apartment. Very spacious, well equipped and very clean. It is right in the heart of the action in Folkestone with fabulous views and all the best attractions- Creative Quarter, the Goods Yard, RockSalt- right nearby. Brilliant for a weekend away! Extremely comfortable upper lounge area.

Nobody to meet and greet you on arrival and give you a short explanation of all the facilities.

Appartement très très agréable, avec vue sur le port. On s'y sent très bien.

Rien à redire excepté le mobilier de terrasse qui était hors d'usage et sur lequel il était impossible de s'asseoir sans passer à travers. Il n'est pas aisé de se garer, le parking coûte entre 15 et 20 GBP la journée, c'est une donnée importante à savoir quand on réserve pour la semaine .

Beautiful apartment and in an excellent location. Beautiful views from the many windows and balcony. Spacious lounge area and kitchen diner. Bedrooms were comfortable and ensuite was very welcome. It was lovely to be able to take in the views with the binoculars. There was a very well equipped kitchen so an option to cook. The dining table was big enough to seat a family. There was a laundry room also. The use of wood throughout the property was very attractive. It is so well situated with so many places to eat or have a drink or two just a sones throw away. All in all the whole place was stylish, comfortable and good value for money. I would stay again.

When we arrived after a long journey we couldn't get into the apartment. The code given to open the door didn't work. I attempted to call the helpline on this site and nobody was available. For nobody to be available at all is very disconcerting. We were hot and tired. It was quite uncomfortable standing there unable to get in as there were a fair few people outside on the pavement buying icecream, using the gift shop or just walking about. We ended up asking the shopkeeper and he luckily had a code and we used that. It wasn't a good start. The ensuites were lovely but no place once inside the shower cubicle to put or hang anything while showering. Such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap or bath scrunchie etc.. It made showering a little fiddly. Plus the tray didn't drain well. It became slippy as a result which could be a hazard and cause injury. These few things could easily be solved however. The deposit is rather high but the reason was explained and I hope to get this back very soon.

The property is in a great location, very clean and spacious

There was nothing not to like about the property. 100% would recommend. But, the company wanted a £300.00 damage deposit which had to pay. 1st time for me. Left the property on a Tuesday and was advised that it would not be inspected until the Friday then it could take 10 to 14 days to return money if all ok. I understand that certain properties have issues but as a company you took my money quick enough but your process of checking and returning money which £300.00 is a lot of money is to slow. Breaks like this are supposed to be stress free and this left me a little anxious to what would have happened if you decided not to return my deposit. This was a short break for my elderly parents
