EMVI APARTMENTS IV seaview near airport

Dichtbij het vliegveld, groot appartement. Op 20 minuten lopen van het strand en van een aantal prima restaurantjes.

In de badkamer zat schimmel en de douche zat vol zwarte vliegjes. In het bed voel en hoor je de veren als je je omdraait, niet erg comfortabel. Het appartement ligt naast een erg drukke weg (ook 's nachts).

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans cet appartement, idéalement situé près de l’aéroport, parfait pour une escale à Athènes. L’endroit est propre, calme et très pratique. L’hôte a tout organisé à la perfection : transfert depuis et vers l’aéroport, accueil chaleureux, et même des sandwiches, des boissons et un petit déjeuner déjà prêts à notre arrivée. Une attention exceptionnelle qui fait vraiment la différence après un long voyage. Merci encore pour tout ! Je recommande vivement cet appartement à tous les voyageurs en transit.

I liked the residential area which had shop and restaurant nearby.

My friend slept in the bed and I used the settee but there were no sheets for it. I messaged the host who told me they were in the wardrobe but they weren't. I had to use the grey fleecy/towelling covers. Not great. Also, the host sent me the code for the keysafe at midday on the day of arrival. I had told him that I wouldn't be able to access WhatsApp and that he should send an SMS if he needed to contact me. I don't have the possibility to use the Internet when I'm not in the UK unless I'm connected to a network. Therefore, I could only read his WhatsApp message once I was inside the apartment and had connected to the WiFi. The taxi driver had to phone the host (they luckily knew each other!) to get the keysafe code for us. This code should have been provided several days beforehand.

Very close to the airport. Host was very communicative, responsive and provided all the needed information. The bakery just up the street is very good and a lovely addition to our stay. The apartment is large, clean and the shower was excellent. WiFi was strong, and it was great to have drinkable tap water.

The apartment is spacious but the couches to accommodate our third and fourth were not the most comfortable. Completely doable, but good for people to know they aren't the best for sleeping.

Owner very helpful with taxi transfers and lovely breakfast options left for weary traveller.

Bathroom could do with bit of an upgrade.

It was clean, it had it’s own parking (which was a bit hard to get into), they had prepared some breakfast in the fridge. The host sent good information beforehand.

The location is close to the airport the birds way but driving is still like 25 min. It is close to a road with much traffic also by night and the windows don’t block the sound so it was a bit hard to sleep. The beds and sofa bed was quite hard. The host said he could arrange transport to airport but when we needed one baby seat and one toddler seat it could not be arranged and he offered no more help.
