First experience od 3 months journey to India: terrible. After I made booking and long travel (4 flights) I arrived to India and only when I call them to confirm address they said „foreignersare not allowed”. They refused accomodation even after confirmation of the booking… Be carefull, this place is simple SCAM…

Nothing. The neighborhood seemed sketchy when I arrived late at night--and the hotel was down a small, dark alley. The name of the hotel I reserved did not match the name on the hotel door, although Google maps and a sign on the Main Street indicated I was in the right place. The desk attendant was unprofessional, although he confirmed I was in the right hotel.
Booking.com needs to establish whether a hotel will accept foreigners before we book a room and show up. I arrived after midnight, but directly from my flight, and was told that foreigners were not allowed in the hotel. The owner offered me no alternatives for where I should stay, and I was left to fend for myself in a strange city in the middle of the night.
