Where to start here, we had a booking for a lodge in another area that cancelled on us with less than 48 hours notice. This is how we stumbled across Squirrel pod, we called and spoke with Helen (host) who was extremely understanding to our situation and moved things around to enable us to stay at their site. Upon arrival we were met by Jamie (host) who took us to our pod and explained everything and gave advice on places to visit. The pod exceeded our expectations, well equipped, clean, cosy, with exceptional views. Our weekend away was amazing thanks to our super hosts and beautiful location, we are already looking at making our next booking here. I can not recommend this site highly enough. Many thanks to Helen and Jamie, we will see you again soon.

We had a fantastic two night break. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful setting, close to some great attractions. We went hiking in shropshire hillls and enjoyed some pottery in the local village of Wenlock! we hope to be back.

These pods are so well made and comfortable and the scenery is amazing. Staff are friendly. The local wildlife is fantastic and so are the views.

Before we arrive I saw you could order local produce to be In the hut so requested milk eggs and bread which wasn't there when we arrived so my partner had to leave again to get it which didn't leave us much time to enjoy the grounds on the evening unfortunately and was disappointing as we would have got some in advance. The oven still had food and grease inside it on the trays so we didn't use them as we didn't want to wash up the old food. We bought some prosecco with us but the champagne flutes in the cupboard were really dirty so we used plastic cups and then on the night we wanted to plug the phone chargers in and when we looked down the side of the bed it was really dusty and grubby which was so sad because otherwise the facilities were nice and the place is so quaint.

Just about everything is provided! It’s so so clean! The location and views were beautiful!

We were a little anxious as it had no reviews; however when we arrived we found it was because we were the first to stay as they were brand new! What an honour!!
