Skagesund guest house with free parking

The hosts are super nice, replied to all my messages within minutes. Its clean. They have charger for electric cars which is great if you are renting.

We booked room with two beds and we had one regular and one "extra" bed which was not that comfortable.

Super clean, lovely place in a nice neighbourhood. Easy access to city via bus.

Absolutely great room, bathroom, and kitchen. Everything was clean and cozy! The actual place is even better than the photos online! I highly recommend the host update the pictures to reflect the true quality. Also, the supermarket is very close, just a short walk away.

This apartment is shared with 2 other bookable rooms, I believe. Because it's an apartment, it's fully finished with all the facilities you will need. There's a washing machine (although we didn't use it). We had our own toilet which was huge with a nice mirror and good lighting. The room, although not big, has sufficient space for me. We were able to use the kitchen to do some simple cooking. Well working induction stove, and oven, and a fridge to store our ingredients. And a nice dining area to have our meals. Location wise, it's near the bus stop so it's pretty convenient to get to the city centre and the airport. There's a big grocery store right across the main road and it has a lot of variety in products. Because it's away from the city, it's quieter and darker (better for aurora viewing chances). I enjoyed my stay and even got to see the northern lights from the apartment balcony :)

It's a bit pricey but it's as good as it gets for Tromsø area. Location is slightly further from the city centre compared to the hotels but it's very conveniently located such that it's near the bus stop and only takes about 10mins bus ride to reach the city centre.

The living space and kitchen are amazing, enjoy a cup of coffee on a snowy morning. Karen was kind enough to let us leave our belongings after checkout.

Need to take a 10 min bus from the centre to the house, but still quite convenient.

Nice building and clean that’s about it

It was cold and unwelcoming. The room was supposed to be a double room with private bathroom. It was a single bedroom with 2 of the worst beds I’ve ever seen. One was a cheap mattress on a camp bed. The other was a bed base and no mattress - if you sat on that one it would slide across the floor. The towels were like they came from a second hand store they were so thin. The curtains must’ve been found in a dumpster. The ‘private bathroom’ was 2 doors down the hall so you’d have to get dressed in the night to go to the toilet. All in all the bedrooms are just like a bad backpacker hostel which considering how fancy and modern the new building is means the host just doesn’t care. We showered only and got out of there as soon as we could. We couldn’t even have the afternoon by nap we planned. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay there. Did our money but you couldn’t pay me to stay there.

Not clean (especially the refrigerator and bathroom) , very noisy. You hear everything in rhe building. People are coming and going at all hours.
