Magnificent 1BDR Apartment in Mersyside

Clean apartment, kitchen facilities, secure apartment, location and surrounding area. Also they allowed me to check out at 12:00 pm. great. Saved my time.

The location was good and convenient for travellers as it was near the train stations and restaurants/food places and grocery store. It was spacious for 2 but could improve with having the basic amenities (e.g. basic toiletries, dishwashing liquid, washing detergent for the washer). It was generally clean as well.

There was no blinds in the bedroom, according to the owner, it was spoilt by the previous guest. It was not something that could be overlooked as we were on the first floor and facing the street. It gave us no privacy and the street lights were very bright at night, making it very difficult to sleep. The owner, didn’t even come down to help fix something up, but instead told us to make do and cover with a towel or cardboard without the proper tools. My husband luckily managed to use the spoilt blinds and fixed it somehow on the ledge of the window, but it was inconvenient as it will rattle when the wind blows and if we close the window the room will get warm and stuffy. The bed mattress was very thin and uncomfortable, so are the pillows (they were thin). We used another comforter/duvet on the bed to make it slightly more comfortable.
