The view of the ocean from inside the apartment (living room and master bedroom)—is absolutely stunning. You’re treated to a picture-perfect, uninterrupted vista of the sea. The property also features two balconies (a spacious one off the living room (with a great blind), and one off the master), which are lovely for catching a breeze, though the best views are definitely from indoors. When near the railings, you may notice the neighboring lot, which is in disrepair, and during our stay, there were several people camping (literally) on the beach below. Before arriving, we had some concerns about safety. That said, once we settled in, spoke with locals, and saw that many nice cars with California plates were left parked on the street well into the night, we felt at ease. We comfortably walked to the main street and grocery store even after dark. We were told by colleagues and locals not to go to certain areas in Tijuana, and that we should be more careful in downtown Rosarito late at night and to always stay out of dark alleys. If you're used to traveling in more polished resort areas, the surroundings may feel a bit rugged. But for those who enjoy a more local, adventurous vibe, this property is a fantastic value with million-dollar views.

Listening to the waves rolling in through the night was so peaceful. Right at the beach, and such a clean and cheerful place to watch the endless seascape.
