MOOREA Bungalow Kohimana avec vue lagon

We spent a week in the Bungalow and found it ideal as a step off point to visit attractions on the Island. Owner was very approachable and helpful. Everything you need is not far away.. supermarket shops etc.. you never tire of the view from the verandah

It was a cute little hideaway with breath taking views of both the ocean and the mountains! With so many experiences ahead of each day, I couldn’t take myself away from the morning coffee, cool breezes and serenity of the porch! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy vacation!

Simply amazing. The house is located on a hill/mountain in a private area reachable by car (or quad, scooter might be hard). You would stay in a separate bungalow behind the hosts’ private house. Once you reach the parking area, you have to go around the owners’ house and you will find the “dependance”. The view is exactly as shown in the pictures hence breath taking. The house has all the relevant tools including a washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. You are in the middle of a forest hence you have to account for some insects and bugs but really nothing to be worried about. Please bear in mind that the path to the house is partially off-road with a steep uphill; unless you love hiking with luggages I would suggest renting a car which is, in any case, fundamental as Moorea is a big island. The hosts are amazing people, super easy going and very polite.

Loved the privacy, quietness and epic views of mountains so close and sea. Perfectly maintained grounds and cleanliness. Close to Maharepa village with nice shops, cafes etc Helpful host, easy to communicate with.

The view from the balcony was nice because it was high up on the valley cliff side. They gave use fresh fruit everyday and the family are nice that run the place. There is a parking spot at the property, bed was comfortable and air con worked well.

The drive up is a single track, steep road with potholes, two strips of concrete slabs all the way up. There was no lighting, this was ok for off-road vehicle or if you don’t mind potential damage to car.
