Canal-Side Townhouse Free Parking City Location

The only good thing was location and getting in the house.

We had a very bad experience with this booking. The property was advertised as “Newly Refurbished Great Location Free Parking” when we booked it, however the host changed the name afterwards which left us feeling rather deceived, only the booking and getting in the house was smooth, however when we got in, it was full of animal odour and filthy, There were animal hair all over, specially carpets. Sofa was stained as well as the bedding which was also not washed or ironed. I messaged the host and shared pictures (I wish there was an option to share more pictures with this review) which he acknowledged and agreed to clean the house next day, however it should have been cleaned before. We had a terrible night and my daughter got an allergic rash. Next day we had to evacuate and book a hotel nearby which cost us a fortune. I spoke to both host and booking dot com for the above but unfortunately both were not helpful and refused to refund. I am sure this host will not like this review and might refute above, however I have been as honest as I could. I would definitely not recommend this property, which is now advertised as new name” canal-side townhouse free parking” for booking.

The accommodation was spacious and clean with everything you wanted. It felt like a home allowing pets, which is vital for us. The accommodation is in a lovely quiet location with the canal to the rear, which offered lovely walks in the evening. The accommodation has private parking and was only a short walk from the university and town. We would highly recommend the accommodation and would use again.

Location is quiet with good single space parking. Easy walk along canal towpath into city centre.

Property is clean, but there is a lack of attention to detail: mould on bath sealant, shower seal allows water to fall on floor, most blinds do not operate, broken door handle to top floor.

Nice appartment with great location by the river.

We are an active family so it was a pity the washing machine did not work.

Great townhouse in a lovely quiet location, about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Check in was very smooth and the host communicated really well. He helped us with a query very promptly. The kitchen has been stocked up slightly since the previous review, it had tea, coffee, sugar. Big Lidl and Aldi a short drive away. All in all a fantastic short break in Leeds. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet location but within walking distance of city attractions. Comfy beds and furniture. Good powerful shower. Easy to operate heating and windows. Dog friendly and nice walk along the canal. Very good communication from host.

Although kitchen area had cutlery, plates and pots, it was not really made for cooking. No sharp knives, washing up liquid or salt and pepper. The apartment is within easy reach of a supermarket and eateries so just buy ready made or eat out. For anyone with mobility issues the steep internal steps and 3 story town house design should be considered.
