We like the character of the property and its quiet location. We liked the open fire and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that we booked. We enjoyed the lovely views of the neighbouring animals and lovely scenery. We also appreciated the added level of comfort with the blankets and comfortable seating and mattresses. Lovely welcome gifts and easy to read booklet.

I liked the layout and how it was organised. The location was quiet and the people friendly. Appreciated the accessibility, and found a bus stop 20 mins walk from the location.

Doors stuck a little once or twice and the ensuite bathroom lacked a lock at the time we were there but honestly a non issue.

"Excellent stay"

Comfortable, lovely quiet surroundings, small development of 4 cottages. Close to small village of church, shop and pub. Close to Longford Town and all major routes.

We liked everything.

"Peaceful place to stay with easy access into local town, could do with some more homely features."

Nice and quiet location with quick access into Longford. The house was spacious and had good sized living room and kitchen. Was nice to have good fast WiFi and TV for the kids. Travel cot provided was very welcome. Good to have a dishwasher and washing machine handy.

The cottage was nice but felt like it needed some remedial work on things like doors not closing/latching. The front door was a nice split stable door which would have been good to have open and keep the kids in but there was no bolt or latch to keep it closed. We couldn't find any cleaning equipment to keep the place clean so needed to buy our own. The wardrobe doors in the master bedroom fell off.

"Really enjoyed our stay in Red Rose."

Location was great for us. Very quiet and Cottages looked really pretty. Cottage had everything we needed. Very spacious inside.

On the booking.com listing it said no parking available. But after messaging the vendors they said there was parking available next to the house. So this could of potentially detered some people from booking.
