Stylish Flat with Stunning Sea Views Ilfracombe

We loved the location and the apartment

Needs Some maintenance to shower mixer and bottom of cupboards

The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean with all essentials you need.

We didn’t dislike anything.

The location was convenient for local amenities round the harbour and the view from the apartment lounge area was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and immaculate.

There is no mention in the description that you have to climb 5 flights of stairs to access the accommodation. This should be made clearer. The sofa in the lounge was pretty worn and the tv was not positioned well to watch comfortably from the sofa. It is an old building with windows that allow a fair amount of wind to howl through and the blinds were insufficient for keeping out light if you need a dark room to sleep.

The apartment is stylishly decorated and well equipped. It's a nice space with a great view of the sea and comfortable. There was a generous basket of snacks on arrival.

Access by car and parking are both difficult. The nearest car park is £16 per day. There's a flight of steps up to the front door and four more flights of stairs up to the apartment which is on the second floor. Carrying luggage is tiring. The kitchen lights didn't work and the wifi information was incorrect which was frustrating. We were asked to leave the keys to the apartment in the keybox one day for access by a contractor while we were out. We agreed but it's not a great arrangement. The hosts are responsive to issues (although they didn't fix any) but anonymous (no names on any of their messages).

The flat has stunning views looking out to sea and a lovely window seat. It is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and Nicky furnished, and was lovely and clean and warm. Very central location, near harbour and town and beaches. Parking in nearby carpel was easy in Jan .

No real issues, and nothing to detract from stay but a few bits of tlc needed in some blown plaster, the streams an ill fitting bedroom blind!

Overall attractive apartment with nice looking features and nice equipment. Low season so parked out front and great location. Window seat and binoculars are perfect and beautifully warm and cosy despite the temperature outside. Thank you

Lovely decor let down slightly by a ripped area on the sofa and a few unsightly screws. Wallpaper needs some glue in places. Access to the garden is not as easy as it reads. No bottle top opener!

Great location and lovely view. Very comfortable apartment. Appreciated all the little details, especially towels, bowls etc for dogs.

If I had to say anything, the bed was not that comfortable and pillows too big creating neck ache, but otherwise everything great, thanks. Also I think it would be good to state that the flat is on 2nd floor so climbing stairs needed.
