Riverfront Apartments at The Blue Goat Ramelton

Just everything! Our flat was on the first floor of a converted 19th century former industrial building overlooking the estuary of the River Lennon into Lough Swilly. The flat is spacious and tastefully decorated with a well selected eclectic mix of western and oriental furniture and art. The host runs an excellent deli and cafe on the ground floor, too. Coffee, sweet and savoury treats and all spices, herbs and condiments one might like to use in the well equipped kitchen are just one flight of stairs away. Try the Cheese selection!

Everything about Riverfront Apartments at The Blue Goat is exceptional, I just wish we could have stayed for longer. Des is a perfect host, from his greeting to our leaving he was there in his fabulous Deli offering any help, advice and recommendations. The apartment is fabulous, great decor, well equipped and in a perfect position on the banks of the river.

Loved everything

The welcome upon arrival to the care and detail in the apartment. It is throughly a relaxing space. The food emporium is amazing. Des knowledge and simple things like the way the cheese box was arranged. The wine selection is amazing. The rib eye steaks perfection. The care and attention that you receive from the team is phenomenal. It is a must try. Ramelton is a pure gem.

Fabulous apartment in a beautiful location. Our host Des was extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. A great base for exploring the area. The apartment itself has every thing you need for a short or extended stay.

A truly unique property in an extremely photogenic location. The owner of the building runs a wonderful grocery beneath the apartment and is extremely generous in providing a spectacular welcome cheese board and wine. Des also kindly made us morning coffees at no charge. The apartments themselves are beautifully and lovingly decorated. Well worth a visit
