Cosy Orrell Park Retreat Near Anfield and Aintree

Nothing, the property is a run down building that should not even be found on a booking website. I honestly don’t know how properties are allowed to be listed on a booking website but there is definitely something wrong with that process.

The location is horrible, the building looks deserted. As you enter a foul smell is perceived in the corridors. The big bed is broken and a tape is used to hold it together. The toilet is a shit. The plates and spoons are dusty. I honestly don’t know if people are supposed to be using that kind of house as an Air B and B. A complete waste of money. The heater in the living room is not working. A horrible sound from the heater in the bedroom. Worst experience so far all my life since I have been booking air b and b. I recommend a visit to apartment that before they are listed on the booking website.

Location, parking, amenities, WiFi, smart TV, Utensils, toiletries etc, host was great communication

Nothing, everything was fine for our stay,.provided exactly what we needed and no disappointment, would visit again!

The location was perfect for what we needed it for, as we were attending an event at aintree racecourse.

Upon walking into the apartment, it was cold, each room was cold, although the heating was on….. upon investigation of the radiators they’d been switched off, the single bed has a slat that is broken on it, which when I tried to fix it I found a sock under the bed. It was clean but didn’t feel clean, we went to use the cutlery and it was dusty, it fell short in some ways.

The only positive thing was the relatively quick responses from the owner, who arranged for the guy, who was really nice, to come and fix the heating.

Probably the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The first shock came as soon as we opened the door to the apartment. It was cold outside, and inside the apartment it was about 8 degrees. There were no instructions, no guide, nothing about how to turn the heating on. I had to contact the owner so he could guide us remotely on how to start the heating. A very old boiler was hidden in the kitchen. After about an hour we managed to get it running, but we had to wait another hour dressed in jackets until the apartment warmed up at least a little. Another shock came when we opened the living room, and actually in almost the entire apartment there were cat hairs. The bed linens were dirty, it looked as if they hadn’t been changed after the previous guests. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and we also didn’t have enough towels and also, the bathtub was on the verge of falling apart. We definitely won’t be coming back.

The flat was lovely and close to local shops etc

The WiFi didn't really work except late at night and the early hours of the morning. It meant the TV was unwatchable.
