Perfect cottage retreat near the Brecon Beacons

The property was lovely and spacious. We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of space for us all to sit/relax in the same room. The dinning area was lovely and cosy with the log burner on. The location was rural which is what we wanted and only a 10 min drive to nearest towns. Loved sitting outside with a coffee and watching the sunrise. There was also a choice of games which we enjoyed. The Welsh Cakes that were left were a nice touch too.

The property was clean but would benefit from a deep clean - cobwebs/oven etc but was great value for money.

Great location for our 4x4 day from Llandovery, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cleaning products etc Central heating was perfect and plenty of hot water Slept very well and you could hear a pin drop during the night

This is a lovely property which has lots of character and charm but also all the modern facilities you could wish for. The owner seems to have thought of everything when equipping the property and the Welsh cakes on arrival were a lovely welcoming touch. The location is very peaceful, and all the windows look out over open countryside. During our stay sheep were grazing in the field to the front of the property and horses in the field to the rear which adjoined the garden. We were able to park our two cars in the driveway, the internet worked well and communication with the owner was good making checking in and out easy. We went out each day whilst we were there but would have happily spent longer just relaxing and enjoying the views. If you are a cat lover there are two cats, Rocky and Rambo, who are a delight and will happily spend time with you, but no problem if you don’t want to engage with them as they have their own place to live and so you don’t need to let them inside if you don’t want to. As cat lovers ourselves they further added to our enjoyment and the grandchildren loved them. We would happily stay here again.

Gorgeous setting and lovely cottage. Nice treat of welsh cakes too. Stay topped off by housemates Rambo and Rocky the house cats. Our girls we thrilled to pet them. The neighbours- 5 horses ( no pun intended) were also very welcoming

A super comfortable and spacious cottage with all the facilities you will need. Fresh flowers and Welsh cakes greeted us on arrival. A perfect rural location for exploring South Wales and very quiet indeed but a really good Co-op is only 10 minutes drive. You get the added bonus of the two friendly cats, Rocky and Rambo that live outside. The owner is exceptionally helpful and always answered my questions promptly.
