ZAIt is exceptionally quiet and remote. On a hill looking out over a valley and large lake. The host was very welcoming, with a welcome pack of essentials. Very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. If you are driving, use WHAT3WORDS as the postcode is not recognized very well. The track needs you to straddle the middle hump, "middlemannekie" It's not a problem as long as you pay a bit of attention. Don't sleep while driving. Very nice accommodation, well worth an extended visit.bidefird 35mins away by car. The "Bull and Dragon" in Meeth is an award winning pub. Fantastic local beer, brewed by the publican, and the best ciders. Food and hospitality good too, maybe 3miles away

FRBeautiful countryside, Simon is a very kind owner and he has made a truly wonderful milking parlour renovation. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole property has been very tastefully furnished and decorated. It was warm, cosy and comfortable. Simon prepared several welcome treats for us, and there were many breakfast goodies, including some eggs from his hens and some sticky toffee pudding.
The long farm track to reach the property which was difficult to drive along due to rain water erosion which had caused gullies and large stones to appear. Some aspects of the accommodation needed a bit of maintenance, but this didn’t spoil our stay.
