MXClean, private, good location.

GBIt was a very comfy room and an easy walk to the CO-OP Live (next to the Etihad) which was our main purpose. The en-suite shower was nice and all kitchen devices required were supplied and worked.
Only things we would of liked were some instructions, things like where the tram stations are and the boiler needing to be switched on.
GBAbsolutely perfect, clean, had everything you need, great location. Stayed here before and mentioned in review about bedside table would be good….lo and behold, they were there this time..how efficient is that
Nothing
GBLocation was great for the planned concert at Co-op Live.
This is an ensuite bedroom in a house, therefore, I can only comment on the room. There is no dressing table. The bed looks like it has been broken and put back together, badly, with screws. As a result it creaks. Mattress is unsupportive. Pillows likewise. Curtains are about 6 inches too long, as a result they look a mess (and the curtain rail isn't level). The TV isn't connected to anything and, as such, is a rather poor wall decoration.
EENothing. Disappointed in everything. Very bad experience! I have added the photos of the place as well as the conversation with the owner as they responded late to everything. Even after the dispute they wrote me 7 days after. It's been over a month and there is still no answer from the Booking.com customer support.
I booked a room in April 2024 and paid on September 3rd, 2024. Upon arriving in the UK for the first time on September 20th, I wanted to contact the owner, but they only provided a phone number. To avoid expensive charges, I chose to email instead. The owner had previously sent a message with a code for the keys, leading us to believe everything was ready. When we arrived, the lockbox was already open, which felt suspicious. The front door was unlocked, and our assigned room was in a terrible state—dirty sheets, used towels, and a foul smell. We thought the room hadn’t been cleaned yet since we arrived early (around 1 PM), so we waited an hour. However, when we returned at 2:12 PM, nothing had changed, and we heard voices from other rooms. Feeling unsafe and disgusted, we decided to wait outside for someone to clean the place, but no one came. After waiting until about 2:35-40 PM, we realized it was impossible for the mess to be cleaned before check-in at 3 PM as it is unsanitary, so we booked another accommodation last minute, thankfully finding a place at the same price. By the time we settled in, it had been five hours since I emailed the owner without any response. The owner replied 12 hours later, but we were asleep by then. I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a refund due to the situation. I sent this message at 10 AM local time, but the owner responded 17 hours later, stating they wouldn’t issue a refund because I contacted them on the departure day, despite having emailed them a day earlier. After returning to Estonia, I reached out to both the owner and Booking.com, but the owner still refused to refund me. I am very disappointed with Booking.com, as I have emailed them multiple times from two email addresses regarding this issue, and it’s been a month with no assistance. Please be careful with this booking! I paid around £180 and still have not received them. Currently, I am on the talks with the UK Consumer's Protection.
