Idyllic Family farmhouse in beautiful West Cork

Beautiful house that was a great mix of traditional farmhouse and modern. Loved our stay there, very close to Skibbereen and the garden was wonderful in the sun. The hosts were so accommodating and answered all of our questions very quickly. The house is really well equipped and they left lots of firewood and a few basics in the kitchen, as well as some toilet paper and kitchen roll. There is a very good washing machine and tumble drier, a nice kettle and good hob etc. Beds were very comfortable, the decor was lovely. All of the rooms are very bright and airy with big windows.

Very little to comment on. One or two things needed some little repairs, like a drawer handle here or there. One thing to mention was that the electric shower temperature did fluctuate, and needs a little maintenance because it was tricky to wash the kids without a steady temperature. But we loved our stay, and would go again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.

The veiws arw amazing. A very tranquil place. Highly recommended.

Big rooms, Charming farmhouse style

A bit impersonal. Bread and milk in property was nice to have but supermarket bread on its own isn’t helpful. Useful information about the area provided (even if from 2022) but zero information about the functioning of the house (e.g heating and electric shower)

The power went off in the whole area because of a thunderstorm during our stay and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful, including refunding us the last day as the power didn't come back.

Lovely farm house. Great value

The rustic feel of the home. The lovely care package of milk and bread. The details given about the location and surrounding areas. The home was perfect for a little family break.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Our children also couldn't play in the garden because of all the dog poo. I understand that the house is rural but there was hairs and dust everywhere. Terrible pillows and uncomfortable master bed. No curtains.
