"Overall it’s a beautiful home very cosy although there is no public transport available nearby which makes it difficult"

10.0

I liked that it was clean and secluded

There wasn’t a mop to mop the floor like when you spill something

"Disappointed"

6.0

Convenient location, good parking,

There weren't enough seats for 6 people to relax in front of the tv. One of the bunk beds was broken (one spar) so our grandson slept on the mattress on the floor. There weren't enough coffee mugs, plenty plates. There were no facilities to dry clothes although a clothes airer was mentioned in the facilities. The owner needs a new cleaner. We had to use foil to cover the dirt engrained oven trays. The toaster has seen better days. Several rooms have cobwebs and dirty skirting boards. There is a dangerous step up to the dining area then down again to the kitchen. One of our party fell. Although the owner attended to our request for an improvement in the water pressure it was still poor for the remainder of the week. Such a pity as the property has potential however in need of a deep clean and some decoration. The title for this property is very misleading. Although it is very quiet you have to travel a distance to see any of the lakes that surround the property.

"Peaceful escape"

8.0

Situated peacefully just outside the village of Bailieborough, this expansive property provided an idyllic retreat. The serene environment, punctuated only by the sounds of nature, allowed us to truly unwind. The house itself was equally impressive, with a generous outdoor space and a delightful fish pond—complete with fish food for our enjoyment. There was also a small gym equipped with a treadmill and boxing gear, which I made good use of. The bedrooms were comfortably spacious. Two of the rooms accommodated large double beds, while the third offered bunk beds, making it ideal for families or groups. .

The village offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it an excellent escape from the busy world. As a base for exploring the surrounding area, it's perfect. However, guests should be aware that the village itself is quite secluded, with limited amenities and attractions within walking distance. It's essential to come prepared with your own entertainment or be ready to venture out to nearby towns or cities for dining, shopping, and other activities.

"Adequate accommodation. Cleaning standard was very basic"

5.0

It was quiet

There wasn’t Toilet paper or tea towels or kitchen towels or dishwasher tablets. Couldn’t the induction hob because there weren’t the correct saucepans
