Stylish One Bedroom Apartment in Birmingham City Centre

The property was well located if you are happy to be in the heart of the city with the hustle and bustle and everything that comes with that. (which we were!) We visited during the heatwave and were pleasantly surprised by the property having powerful fans which kept us much cooler than anywhere else. There was plenty of space for us to spread ourselves out. The owner was polite and friendly during check in and communicated well with us on the day to arrange check in. He was also flexible and patient working around our plans.

At first look the property looks like the photographs but when you look closer it’s quite rundown with dated furniture. There are some maintenance and deep cleaning issues that need attention. The living room chair isn’t comfortable enough to relax on. which was particularly disappointing as we are used to a nice sofa when staying in apartments. Overall it’s okay for a budget option but we wished we would have paid a bit more for something better.

Everything is nice and clean

Super clean, fab facilities, great location.

Something the properly owner can’t control, but the noise levels outside are crazy as it’s opposite a spoons pub. Bedroom door to the outside has to be closed with a rope and is broken (didn’t feel fully secure)

The accommodation came with all the essential I needed for the day including Wi-Fi.

The broken window was letting cold air in the night. Luckily the apartment was warm which wasn’t a bother. The owner mentioned that it will be fixed the next day. Other than that it was a lovely apartment.

A truly horrible and dangerous part of Birmingham. Within 5 minutes I saw a theft and violence. I decided not to stay as I felt very unsafe. The apparent has no address other than Hurst Street and a post code. That is very odd. I called the number and some guy answered rudely and said he was coming downstairs by Tesco where I was waiting. 5 minutes later he didn’t appear or call. I called him back and he told me to wait by Pure Gym. It was there I saw a man being punched in the head. Still nobody came and after 5 minutes I left and booked into a hotel. This listing should be removed from your books immediately.

Location spot on for visiting the local area. Well equipped, super clean and hosts exceptionally responsive to queries.

It was a little noisy but only to be expected due to where it was located - definitely worth it and didn't affect sleep!
