Villa Principessa Pool and Sea Access by Amalfivacation

Everything was amazing. The house is enormous and confy, despite being very old. The beds were big and confy, water had pressure and was super hot and it had access to the sea (although the way back was basically climbing a set of 200 steps). The barbecue spot was awesome and very clean. The host met us to deliver the key and they explained everything to us.

A bit too expensive for one night, but I believe it's worth it.

Villa Principessa is one of the best villa we ever stayed in! Views are spectacular, terrace is a wonderful place to relax, you can walk down to the sea or use the amazing pool, and the lovely Minori is a few minutes stroll away. Vincenzo, Erminia and Samantha were great with all the booking details and Giuseppe and Andrea were awesome with the check-in and anything we needed. We took advantage of the free shuttle to eat dinner at Michelin Starred Restaurant Glicine at the related Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi. And both, the food and service exceeded our expectations.

No breakfast. At least some bread.

Everything. The welcoming was detailed and thoughtful was amazing assistance provided. The gift of local fruit and wine delicious and very much appreciated. The villa is a gem, kitted out with almost everything you'd need and has exceptional views of the surrounds. The little platform by the ocean is stunning and we could have spent hours there. Next time we're coming for two weeks. Grazie.

The best part of the Villa is no doubt the water views all around the house which came of course with a high price. Though we did. not really cook a lot while there, the kitchen is the best part of the house. Roomy and pleasant. Also, Vincenzio who welcomed us- friendly, easy to contact and always ready to help! Thank you again for all your help and patience Vincenzio!

What I did not like at all is the location of the Villa. All around, nothing is easily accessible- from the harbour to get to other cities, to the stores in Minori, to the pool and private beach. Be prepared to pay for high price transportation and one must book early arrangements. To reach the Villa from Minori harbour, you will need to carry your suitcase up the hill with many steps then walk along the narrow busy road. To avoid this, we paid a taxi a high price for the 5min ride. The Villa is located almost in the middle of the road. To access the shared pool, one has to cross the busy narrow road. The private beach access is not so private because there are two other "private" spots next to yours. To get there one must trek up and down the long steep steps. By the time, I got up I needed to shower and rest again. Also beware, both beds in the bedrooms have bedbugs that bite!!
