Very strange to have no sink in the kitchen

The barn was lovely, really nicely furnished and felt very comfortable and cosy. The bath in the open plan room is a real treat. The views are excellent. The barn is located on a lovely country walking route, for which there is a map in the accommodation.

This property contained everything that you would want in a holiday home. The owner has put a great deal of thought into making your stay a pleasant time.

Looking for a location to stay that was convenient for my work meetings and also allowed my wife to visit some local tourist sites. I came across Willow Barn which looked great but didn’t have any reviews. Decided I liked the look of the property and booked for a couple of nights. The Barn is in a quiet village and is accessible down a long single track road. In terms of the accommodation I didn’t need to worry. Furnished to an excellent standard it is homely and functional . With everything you would need for a comfortable stay it’s fitted with a good size eat in kitchen and separate utility room. Upstairs there’s a large living space and bedroom with views over open fields, there’s a beautiful roll top bath in the open plan bedroom and a separate large en-suite bathroom with beautiful toiletries. The accommodation is full of homely touches such as a bookcase full of reading material, there’s a selection of DVDs and games. Wi-Fi is available and there’s a selection of local tourist attractions. Outside there’s a large front garden with a bench to sit and watch the evening sunset and a small barbecue area at the rear. The hosts have definitely tried to think of everything to make your visit comfortable. The decor is modern but with some lovely country touches.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
