Stylish Cotswolds Retreat nestled between Bath and Castle Combe

The cottage was beautifully fitted out with everything we could have needed, even some condiments like coffee, sugar and tea. WiFi was good and Netflix on TV. We were visiting family in Chippenham and location was ideal

Everything was lovely, the space, the kitchen, the cosy bedroom and wardrobe space.

The cottage was clean, well-organised, spacious for two people, and very quiet! We took one of the host’s recommended walks/hikes on bridle trails and country roads, and it was beautiful. We had booked two nights but had to head closer to the airport after one. We wish we could have stayed for a week!

Nothing if you are looking for peace and quite on the English countryside.

Immaculately clean and comfortable, so peaceful, lovely private garden to relax and have a drink, listen to the birds. We came to an event at castle Combe race circuit which was very close by, would highly recommend!

Fantastic weekend break and this retreat was a real gem. Great location, easy to find and so peaceful. The facilities were stunning- spotlessly clean- with stylish, high end furnishings. Emily was a great host, really helpful and checked in on us over our stay. Would 100% go back. Wonderful ❤️

Spacious with good facilities. Host arranged a high chair and summer bedding for us at short notice. Nice and quiet location which felt private despite proximity of neighboring properties.

There were a lot of flies in the main living space. We sprayed every day before going out but they kept returning. They kept biting which really prevented us from relaxing properly in the evenings. Property was generally clean so not sure what attracted the flies - potentially the cedar cladding, or the fact the property is a converted stable. No baking trays or fish slice for the oven.
