Super cool front beach, staff very nice and accomodating

The view

We flew with three transfers and arrived at Moalboal at 2 am. There was no soap in the bathroom. We had absolutely nothing to wash ourselves with. We were informed in the morning that soap was not a free option... In a country where tap water is not drinkable, there was not a single bottle of water in the house for guests. Any shop and cafe were 3 kilometres away. There is nothing within walking distance. The house is full of ants: if you spend time in the house, be prepared to be bitten by them. The neighbors' dogs bark constantly. The house feels abandoned. The kitchen's buffet was dirty. The area around the house was not cleaned. On the very first day, aqua shoes were stolen from the porch. This is our first time in the Philippines and the first experience was not very pleasant.

1. Misleading Bed Descriptions: The upstairs bed is a single, not a double as advertised. 2. Uncomfortable Downstairs Bed: Resembles a camp bed with a very uncomfortable mattress and low height. 3. Poor Bedding and Towel Quality: Cheap, old, discoloured, and mismatched bedding and towels. 4. Neglected Garden: Initially in a total mess, requiring cleaning. 5. Dirty Barbecues: Unusable due to lack of cleaning. 6. Kitchen Hygiene: Too dirty to be used. 7. Water Supply Issues: No water for one night and the following morning. 8. Unsafe Electrical Cabling: Exposed and dangerous wiring inside and outside. 9. Hazardous Coconuts: Overgrown and unmanaged, posing a falling hazard. 10. Damaged Sun Loungers: Both loungers were broken; had to be repaired by guests. 11. Lacking Outdoor Furniture Cushions: Incomplete and uncomfortable outdoor seating. 12. Inadequate Wifi: Extremely slow and unreliable. 13. Broken Fence: Rusty and falling apart, allowing stray dogs to enter the garden. Additional Comments: - Noise Disturbance: Persistent, loud barking from the next door dog, disturbing sleep. - Commendable Staff: Lisa, the property manager, was helpful and friendly, but lacked the resources to maintain the property adequately. - Repeated Issues: Similar problems noted in other reviews, with no action taken by the host. The host will no doubt add a standard comment to this review like they have done for every other negative review promising to make it better, but they never do.

Its like having your own home right on the beach. So comfortable and picturesque. location, location, location!

This is my third time renting this property. The sporadic dog barking next door got a little annoying a couple of time for the 10 day stay. but other than that, it was perfect.

it was a house right in the water. Had all the kitchen tools and dishes and beach chairs, kayaks, etc. The grill worked awesome!! The owners bought umbrellas for us to use as we had a couple days of rain. Excellent location as it was close to the bars and restaurants in Moalboal. I really liked it!! I booked it again for May!

I’d say the beds are ok, but not great. I slept ok so not an issue with me.

The beds are worse than bad , they really should change it, A pity such a nice place having no confortable bed
