It was quirky, original and in a magical setting. The host made us feel very welcome, offered a tour around the castle and gave us some local history. She ensured we had all we needed including setting up the fire pit when we decided we would like to catch the atmosphere of the evening. Absolutely ideal for children or anyone who enjoys wizards & hobbits!

The only thing is that you must bring what you need to eat with you as once there you really won't want to leave.

"An unusual but delightful place to spend a few nights."

Very friendly and helpful host. Wonderfully quirky property in a delightful spacious garden. All very good quality fittings etc and we found everything we needed. Will certainly recommend this lovely holiday venue to friends and family and will make sure we are able to stay longer next time ourselves.
