Martha's Cottage

The location was perfect for visiting my Mum who lives next door. Child friendly. Lovely country views.

I stayed at Martha's cottage with my daughter for a long weekend. At every stage the host was flexible, accommodating and helpful. He was very reactive (like when I wasn't sure how to get hot water in the kitchen) and when my ferry off the island was cancelled he accommodated my late leaving without any problem. The property is really comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked to self cater, the beds are comfortable and the lounge is really nice. A pleasant surprise was the play room stocked with fun games which we had lots of fun playing. Parking wise your car is secure and close to the doors should it be raining while the garden is a really nice size with plenty of space for my three small dogs to run around and get exercise. All in all this was a wonderful stay for many reasons, and we loved our time at Martha's Cottage

Very spacious and comfortable bungalow. Everything you need provided. Darryl & Beverly were very welcoming and to hand for any questions. Kids loved it. Perfect for what we needed and would have liked to stay longer.

Was dated and the heating did not work. Temp outside was below freezing and in the middle of the night the heating stopped working

Location was perfect for us. It was a great base for us to use whilst working away.

Quiet location, clean, warm and tidy. The owner Daryl was there to meet us on arrival and was super helpful and friendly.

It suited us but not ideal of you want shops close by. One of the double beds was very creaky.
