Panoramic Oceanview Retreat in Miramar Beach

The view was nice!!! We loved the ocean view! It was a very close walk to the beach & had plenty of towels & washcloths

The location in Marimar is less crowded than Destin so it was calmer and easier to to navigate around. Destin was just a 10 minute ride down the road.

We thought it was a great deal because of the picture and title. But it was not really the ocean view that we thought it would be from the pictures. I love opening French doors or sliding doors to sit and listen to the ocean waves. However, we were so far back and behind a few others buildings that you could not hear anything but the traffic. The picture is up at a funky angle from the side and not a true picture of what it looks like from room. You have large tall condo and hotels building on each side in front of you that obstruct a lot of the view. You can see the ocean from a distance between them and if you get out on balcony in one corner you can see a side view past the buildings. There are lots of noise from the buildings and road before you ocean so you can't really enjoy it. There was construction behind us so there was a lot of noise from that that you heard while in the room so there was no sleeping in. It was winter and cold so we were going there to hide out for a quiet and cozy time. We wanted to curl up and enjoy the view, sitting with our coffee and enjoy the ocean but just could not. We cut the trip in half and went home early and disappointed. The bed was old and very uncomfortable so we just knew to cut our loses and head out.

The ocean view was beautiful. The unit was clean, comfortable, and up-to-date. The pool was clean and nice as well. We had dinner in the restaurant/bar one evening and the food and service was excellent, as well as the entertainment. The location was great too as we were just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

I wish the heated pool was just a bit warmer but it wasn’t a big deal.
